Data Processing Agreement: We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Microsoft. Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and is thereby committed to complying with European data protection standards.

Storage Duration: Emails are retained according to the legal retention periods for business correspondence, depending on the subject of the conversation. This applies in particular to:

  • Inquiries for quotations: up to 6 years (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO German Commercial Code)
  • Inquiries regarding recourse and complaint claims: up to 10 years (§ 257 HGB German Commercial Code)
  • General inquiries without business relevance: up to 30 days after completion of correspondence

After the retention periods expire, emails are deleted unless other legal obligations prevent deletion.
